I would like to have a latex ‘ under cushsion’ to put under present sofa cushions & one for a club chair. Presently using store bought cushions for chair & bench but these are not supportive enough. Can such be made? What would they cost?
While our hard latex is very dense and supportive, it still has the properties you would expect from latex: bounce and compression. Most of the under the cushion supports I have seen are stiff and unflexible, very unlike latex. A piece of hard latex would make a very firm cushion that won’t swallow you up, easy to get out of, but in 1″ or 2″ depth, it is doesn’t have enough depth to make a large difference. I would consider replacing the entire cushion foam if you want latex. If you would like a quote, email us at orders {@} diynaturalbedding.com with your dimensions.
