This medium weight jersey fabric is slightly sheer with a slight stretch to it, due to the nature of being a knit. Its wide width makes sewing large projects simple as you can skip a seam in the middle of the project. It is as heavy as a heavyweight t-shirt but much softer and more flexible than those stiff t-shirt fabrics.
